The Partner Success Manager position is a blended sales and program management role, focused on supporting CertNexus partners while working with our sales organization to develop new global business related to our partner programs. In this role, you will be expected to:

    • Initiate marketing and sales for full range of CertNexus products and services through global sales teams
    • Managing complex programs and projects across all facets of business including marketing, sales, and operations
    • Report on partner programs status, market potential and market penetration
    • Develop relationships and incremental opportunities with partners and sales teams to extend revenue opportunities for CertNexus and its partners
    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of business issues and industry trends supporting our partner programs

Business Development

  • Develop new business opportunities within partner programs by actively engaging with global sales team. Demonstrate a ‘hunter’ mentality
  • Develop and execute account strategies and plans to expand revenue opportunities within partner programs
  • Engage global sales team and existing partners using all methods of communication, including phone, face-to-face meetings, virtual and social selling platforms
  • Conduct regular partner and client reviews (in conjunction with others) to report partner successes and impact
  • Grow industry, market and customer knowledge to develop an in-depth understanding of partner’s business drivers, issues and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a solid network of contacts within partners, global sales teams, and clients
  • Responsible for the overall satisfaction of partners and programs
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales and other required reports
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals

Program Management

  • Schedule, host, and manage actions from all partner engagements
  • Develop and maintain internal and external program tracking reports
  • Direct and participate in the creation of partner launch and ongoing marketing programs
  • Build reports and dashboards to monitor sales activities
  • Lead all partner related projects
  • Manage all tools, processes and communication across all internal and partner related stakeholders including web portals, partner press releases, and other digital and web tools

Develop your skills and knowledge-base

  • Integrate new skills and knowledge into daily sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends/developments
  • Become a credible resource for our partners, global sales teams and their customers
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen
  • Communicate clearly and compellingly with partners, clients and internal team members
  • Adhere to internal reporting and company procedures
  • Be an independent worker who takes initiative to make things happen
      • At least 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing or sales support related roles
      • Successes in selling to new prospects as well as expansion of existing accounts
      • Proven background in managing programs or a series of client facing projects
      • Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve common goal
      • Professional Skills: Time management, analytical, listening and interpersonal skills. Accountability. Independent, flexible, confident, well organized. Focused and works well under pressure. Demonstrates sound business judgment. Dialogues with senior leaders and clients. Solutions oriented.
      • Technical Skills: Ability to present effectively. Strong professional presence. Power User PC skills (internet, Word, Excel, PPT, or like CRM).
      • Travel: Ad hoc travel (expected to be <10%) required based on need to participate in partner, customer, or company related events.
