CertNexus CFR

CyberSec First Responder (CFR) has been approved by the HRDF Industry Scheme (INDCERT) by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) in Malaysia.

In line with the current national agenda, HRDF is focused to intensify up-skilling, cross-skilling and reskilling programs especially in the technical skill-based and hard skill programs that will help Malaysia to become a high-income economy by 2020. This aspiration is highly dependable on having a 50% highly skilled workforce out of the total working population. This is necessary not only to increase the knowledge and skill intensity of the workforce but also to equip them with specialized and up-to-date skills as production techniques become increasingly automated and complex. Retraining and skills upgrading is also of paramount importance to enhance the quality of the workforce so that it is versatile and adaptable to a changing technological and industrial environment.

The HRDF will also foster workers’ flexibility and job security through the process of retraining and skills upgrading. This is particularly significant as Malaysia ’s economy is dynamic and open which is bound to be exposed to the unexpected and technological changes. Arising from this; most of the current jobs need to be restructured and sometimes become obsolete. For more information on HRDF, click here.

The CyberSec First Responder (CFR) certification validates that a candidate understands and can execute tactics, tools, and procedures to manage cybersecurity risks, identify various types of common threats, evaluate the organization’s security, collect and analyze cybersecurity intelligence and remediate and report incidents as they occur. CFR is also DoD-8570 compliant. To view DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications, click here.
