COOL Training

What is COOL?

COOL (Credentialing Opportunities On-Line) helps U.S. Service members find information on certifications and licenses related to their jobs and civilian careers. Use COOL to get background information on credentialing and find detailed information on:

  • Credentials related to a Occupational Specialties
  • Credentials related to Civilian Occupational Pathways
  • Credential requirements and potential gaps between any military training and civilian credentialing requirements
  • Resources available to fill gaps between any military training and civilian credentialing requirement

How Does CertNexus Tie In?

CertNexus credentials are mapped to U.S. military occupational specialties and are approved for government funding for all COOL (Credential Opportunities On-Line) programs. Each COOL program operates independently with different requirements and disbursement amounts.

Translate your military training and experience with a professional certificate through the CertNexus programs: CyberSec First Responder (CFR), Certified IoT Practitioner (CIoTP). , and Certified Artificial Intelligence Practitioner (CAIP). CAIP is the only vendor-neutral AI certification accepted into the COOL program.
