HOW DOES CERTNEXUS TIE IN?
CertNexus credentials are mapped to U.S. military occupational specialties and are approved for government funding for all COOL (Credential Opportunities On-Line) programs. Each COOL program operates independently with different requirements and disbursement amounts.
Click on the icon that represents your branch’s COOL program to visit their webpage. There you can identify which certifications are available for funding in your branch, determine if learning materials are covered, and find instructions confirming your eligibility for funding. You can search for certifications by CFR, military job code or civilian career area.
After receiving approval from COOL, schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE authorized on-base test center by visiting PearsonVUE Online, then selecting CertNexus.
