Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 20 September 2018 – REETUS Training & Consulting, a leading provider of instructor-led IT Service Management and Service Desk training, announces the addition of CyberSAFE to their public training schedule. This end-user cybersecurity training course and corresponding assessment were developed by CertNexus with the goal of helping organizations combat cyber security threats through educating end-users.

End-users play a critical role in protecting an organization’s data, but often, they are the weakest link in the security chain. In fact, according to Reuters.com, end-user awareness and training reduce security-related risks for organizations by 45% to 70%. CertNexus’ CyberSAFE instructor-led training curriculum, available now through REETUS Training & Consulting, enables employees of any organization to identify many of the common risks involved in using conventional end-user technology, as well as ways to use it safely to protect themselves and their organizations from those security risks. The CyberSAFE training program, delivered in a half-day or less, is designed for non-technical end-users of computers, mobile devices, networks, and the Internet. This course will also prepare students to earn their Certified CyberSAFE credential.

“With the increase in the use of IT services for personal and business purpose on daily basis, everyone is at risk to all forms of security-related issues.  There is a growing need to create awareness among the end-users and we find CyberSAFE as the best solution to provide a quick and easy education for employees in all organizations,” said Tony Albert, CEO, REETUS Training & Consulting.

“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with REETUS Training & Consulting and the addition of CyberSAFE to their cybersecurity training portfolio,” said Christine Harper, CSO, CertNexus.  “We developed the CyberSAFE training program because we recognize that end-users are a crucial part of protecting an organization’s assets, especially since emerging trends such as BYOD are exposing organizations to more and more security threats. With the CyberSAFE training program, employees and organizations everywhere will learn how to use technology more securely to minimize security risks to themselves and their organizations.”

About CertNexus

CertNexus focuses on providing certifications specifically for IT professionals. CertNexus develops its certifications to meet the most robust, rigorous development standards possible. Many of our exams follow a development process that conforms to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 170204:2012 standard, which outlines a global framework for developing personnel certification programs. If a certification is not ANSI accredited, it still follows the same rigorous process, but that one that is slightly more streamlined. In all cases, CertNexus partners with highly knowledgeable and talented industry experts during development to ensure the integrity and quality of each exam. CertNexus also offers a growing portfolio of high-stakes certifications such as CertNexus’ Certified Internet of Things Practitioner (CIoTP), CyberSecure Coder (CSC) and assessments including CertNexus’ Certified CyberSAFE.
